Volunteer Beta Testing Agreement
These terms apply when your InkRider account is enrolled in our volunteer beta testing program. Please read them carefully before accepting.
Last updated: June 14, 2026 (version 2026-06-14)
1. Parties and acceptance
This Volunteer Beta Testing Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("Tester" or "you") and Inkansen s.r.o., a private limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Czech Republic, with its registered office at Osadní 932/38, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic, and Business Identification Number (IČO): [IČO NUMBER] ("InkRider", "we", "us", or "our").
This Agreement supplements the InkRider Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict regarding pre-release testing access, this Agreement controls for program matters only.
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
After we enroll your account in the program, you must review this Agreement and click Agree before using pre-release builds. Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and the agreement version. If we publish a new version, you must accept the updated Agreement before continued program access.
2. Program description
InkRider may provide you with access to pre-release or experimental versions of the InkRider Word add-in, account dashboard, APIs, documentation, or related services ("Pre-release Software") for evaluation, testing, and voluntary feedback.
Program access is invitation-based or otherwise explicitly authorized by InkRider. It may include complimentary access to features that correspond to a paid plan tier (for example Basic, Pro, Team, or Enterprise capabilities) without creating a paid subscription.
Program access does not constitute employment, a contractor relationship, a partnership, or any other compensated engagement. InkRider may modify, suspend, or revoke program access at any time, with or without cause.
3. Voluntary participation; no compensation
You acknowledge and agree that:
• Participation is voluntary. You are not required to test, report issues, attend sessions, or provide any minimum level of feedback. • You will not receive wages, fees, royalties, equity, discounts, credits, or other compensation for participating in the program, submitting feedback, or reporting bugs — now or in the future — unless InkRider expressly agrees otherwise in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative. • Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment or contractor relationship. • You decide whether, when, and how much to use the Pre-release Software.
If you do not agree to unpaid voluntary participation, do not accept this Agreement and do not use program access.
4. Pre-release license
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and the Terms of Service, InkRider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Pre-release Software solely for internal testing and evaluation under the program.
This license does not include redistribution, public demonstration, or use in production workflows unless we expressly authorize it in writing. The license ends when the program ends, your access is revoked, or this Agreement terminates.
5. Confidentiality
The Pre-release Software, unreleased features, non-public documentation, and non-public communications about the program ("Confidential Information") are confidential.
You agree to use Confidential Information only for program testing; not disclose it to third parties without our prior written consent; and not publish screenshots, recordings, reviews, or other public materials that reveal unreleased features without our prior written approval.
Upon request or when program access ends, you will stop using and permanently delete Confidential Information in your possession, except where retention is required by law.
6. Feedback
You may voluntarily submit suggestions, bug reports, ideas, or other input ("Feedback") through channels we designate.
Feedback is voluntary and may be provided without compensation or attribution. InkRider may use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate Feedback into products and services without restriction or obligation to you. You grant InkRider a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Feedback for any purpose.
7. Pre-release software disclaimer
THE PRE-RELEASE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
Pre-release builds may contain defects, lose data, corrupt documents, fail without warning, or change frequently. Features may be incomplete or removed without notice.
You agree to maintain adequate backups; not rely on Pre-release Software for production or client deliverables unless we expressly authorize it; and accept that InkRider has no obligation to fix reported issues or ship any particular feature.
8. Privacy and diagnostics
Program testing may involve collection of technical diagnostics described in our Privacy Policy, including crash reports, usage analytics (where you have consented), and support correspondence.
We may associate your account with a testing cohort label for operational purposes. If you include personal or client data in bug reports, you are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to share it and for redacting sensitive content where possible.
9. Security and acceptable use
You must not share your account credentials; probe or attack our systems except through authorized channels; reverse engineer or circumvent access controls beyond what applicable law expressly permits; or use the Pre-release Software for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
InkRider may suspend or terminate program access immediately for violation of this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or suspected abuse.
10. Public bug reporting
We may direct you to report bugs through a public issue tracker (for example our public feedback repository on GitHub). Issues filed there may be visible to anyone.
Do not include secrets, passwords, API keys, personal data of third parties, or confidential client content in public reports. Use support@inkrider.com for sensitive reports that should not be public.
11. Term and termination
This Agreement begins when you accept it and remains in effect while your account is enrolled in the program.
InkRider may end or pause the program or your enrollment at any time. You may stop participating at any time by ceasing use and requesting removal from the program.
Upon termination, your pre-release license and any complimentary tier access granted for testing may end. Provisions that by nature should survive (including confidentiality, feedback license, and disclaimers) survive termination.
12. Limitation of liability and governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InkRider's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the program is limited as set out in the Terms of Service. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws specified in the Terms of Service.
